Okay folks, this should work and the portrait and video are my submissions for Art Every Day. I’m crossing my fingers and eyes on this. I don’t have four weekends to drag this thing out. My patience ain’t working that way no more, so here are the rules:
- Name the person in the video. You get to see a picture and hear her voice. Got it?
- Next, state her name in the comment section, along with a number between 15 – 30. The numbers will be used in the case of a tie. If your number matches or comes close to the number Little Totsy draws out, you are the winner. Follow me?
- There can be three winners and there will be three different prizes. The prizes are: One original work of art. Prize No. 2 is an assorted set of flat note cards printed from my artwork. Prize No. 3 is a single portrait of what you send to me via email.
- You have until November 14 at midnight (eastern time) to enter.
To the winner of the portrait, please make sure you send me a clear photo. I haven’t seen my glasses around here since early September but I’ve had a heavy dose of carrot juice over the last few weeks. Still, I ain’t putting no time into squinting up at some picture you’ve taken at the club drinking with your buddies and whatnot. It ain’t gonna work that way. I need something I can see straight on, so I can take care of you and go on about some other business. Remember, I’m only producing one portrait with one person in it.
For the folks who win the other prizes, I won’t be making but one trip to the post office. Everything will be mailed off to y’all once that portrait is all done up. I simply don’t wanna be back and forth to no post office during this holiday season. It won’t be an oil portrait or nothing, so you won’t have to wait long, so bear with me.
Now, after the winners are chosen, a second drawing will determine who gets what prize. I’ll announce the winners a week from today and who’s getting what. From there, you’ll make your way over to my contact page and send me your address so we can wrap it up. I’ll email you folks the day I mail your prizes out. Any questions, just ask. I don’t bite but hey, I think ole Herman might like to nibble on ya. (wink, wink y’all)
